Four years, one World Championship and three European LCS titles...these are what international eSports team Fnatic LoL Team look back to as they bid farewell to two of their long-time members: xPeke and Cyanide.
According to the official statement by Fnatic's Chief Gaming Officer Patrik "cArn" Sättermon posted on their team's website, mid laner Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño-Martinez left the team "in favour of his vision to forma completely new team" while their jungler Lauri "Cyanide" Happonen will be taking a step back from competitive League of Legends to focus on other things in life. Though faced with multiple departures from their division, Fnatic LoL still assures their numerous supporters and fans across the world that they have great optimism going into another exciting year for LoL and have immense expectations on their new line-up to be presented in the next few weeks.
Peke, who have been with the team for quite some time already, have been a household name when it comes to League of Legends eSports due to his impressive talent and skill in the mid lane. Peke rose to great fame, however, when he showed LoL prowess by securing victory for their team against SK Gaming via an impressive Kassadin backdoor during the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice last January 2013 (see video below)
