LCL: What's In Store for our Collegiate Teams?

The League of Legends Collegiate League will start with its 2015 Spring Season this coming Sunday - December 14, 2014 and we're all excited to see Metro Manila's best League of Legends Collegiate teams show off their skills and teamwork on the Fields of Justice. 


In the span of next three months, the Collegiate teams will be grouped into four (4) groups of four teams each. The teams will then be playing round robin format with the other teams within their group. The top two teams per group in terms of wins after the regular season will proceed to the season playoffs.

Groupings for the 2015 Spring season can be found below where teams are placed in their respective groups via a random draw conducted at the Garena office.

 De La Salle University Far Eastern University  College of Saint Benilde  University of the Philippines
 University of the East  STI College  Mapua Institute of Technology   Polytechnic University of the Philippines
 University of Santo Tomas  Ateneo De Manila University  Asia Pacific College   Technological University of the Philippines


Aside from the honor and fame that comes together with their rise in the Collegiate League standings, the teams will also be receiving the following prizes at the end of the season.

  Cash Prize  Prize for the University/College 
Champion  PhP 20,000  PhP 15,000 (in cash or item donation)
2nd Place  PhP 10,000  PhP 10,000 (in cash or item donation)
3rd Place  PhP 5,000  PhP 5,000 (in cash or item donation)
4th Place  PhP 5,000  PhP 5,000 (in cash or item donation)
5th Place  PhP 2,000   
6th Place  PhP 2,000   
7th Place  PhP 2,000   
8th Place  PhP 2,000   
 9th to 16th Place PhP 1,000 per team   

Players from each of the 16 Collegiate teams will also be receiving 500 RP incentive every month during the course of the LoL Collegiate League 2015 Spring Season.
