The stage is set for the biggest event in Collegiate eSports history, as elite teams from all across Asia converge in the first ever League of Legends International Collegiate Championship (LICC) to be held in Taipei City, Taiwan’s Taipei Expo EcoARK, on November 11-13, 2016.
LICC was organized to promote eSports and give collegiate teams an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents in the international stage. The top university teams coming from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and China will battle it out for glory and honor, and the title as the first League of Legends International Collegiate Champion.
Philippines will be represented by none other than the champions of the League of Legends Collegiate League PH 2016 Summer Term: Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP)

Aside from becoming the pride of their country/region, the champions of the LICC 2016 will also be receiving US$ 5,000 for the team as well as laptops for each of the winning players while the 2nd and 3rd place teams will each get US$ 3000 and US$ 2000 for their teams respectively
