No Longer 'Immortals': Adrian and Reignover
BY eSports Team - November 24, 2016

North America’s best jungler for the past two splits, Yeu-jin “Reignover” Kim, Immortals announced through a post in their website. Reignover will be leaving to “seek new opportunities”, together with Immortals’ support Adrian “Adrian” Ma. They are the second and third members of the team to exit the roster after AD carry Jason "WildTurtle" Tran left and played for TSM in Intel Extreme Masters Oakland 2016.

Both Reignover and Adrian were instrumental in Immortals’ successful regular season run in the North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS). The team almost went undefeated in their first split, recording 17-1 win-loss record, and taking the number one seed. Many believed that Immortals would easily take the split title, but they faltered in the playoffs, losing to TSM in the semifinals 3-0. In Summer, Immortals once again had an impressive regular season and ended took the second seed behind TSM. But history would repeat itself as they choked in the playoffs anew, losing to a surging Cloud9 in the semifinals, 3-2 and failing to make it to Worlds.
Adrian has already decided to play for NA LCS team Phoenix1 next split, while it is still unclear whether Reignover will stay in NA or return to South Korea, but there are rumors that the Korean jungler will sign with Team Liquid.
