Mata Completes the KT Super Team
BY eSports Team - December 05, 2016

With the addition of former world champion Cho "Mata" Se-hyeong to KT Rolster, the super team is now ready to compete for the upcoming LoL Champions Korea 2017 Spring Split. KT announced the acquisition in a press release today.

Considered one of the best support in the history of competitive League of Legends and the only player to have been in contention for Faker's throne as the best player of all time, Mata won the 2014 World Championship with Samsung White in dominating fashion.

After reaching the pinnacle of competitive LoL, Mata transferred to China and played for LoL Pro League team Vici Gaming in 2015. After a disappointing season with VG, he left the team to join Royal Never Give Up, which he guided to the 2016 LoL Pro League spring title, the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational semifinals, and the 2016 World Championship quarterfinals.
Mata will unite with his former mid laner in Samsung White, Heo "PawN" Won-seok who last played for Edward Gaming, along with AD carry Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu, former ROX Tigers' top laner Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho, and KT veteran jungler Go "Score" Dong-bin.
